Wow, I can't believe the condition of it. Looks new....how did you manage to keep it in such nice condition over the course o 280k shutter releases? Let me see if my wife says. I might pm you later today.
Sorry, not interested in any trade, camera or lens. I have all that I currently need I am only selling the excess gear that I cannot any longer fully use
Bimmer_Man, sure, let me know what your decision will be.
+ Just a quick comment for whom (if anyone) watches this sale waiting for a further price drop: the current asking price is allready at the bottom considering the camera and the condition it is in. I currently have no thoughts of cutting the price further. Actually the biggest temptation for me is to withdraw the sale and keep this camera I am sincere. Thanks all.
Thanks, sskoutas 1D2N are fantastic cameras indeed.
John, I've heard prices anywhere from ~ $150 to ~ $300. It would be better to ask Canon for a more accurate quote though.
I'd comment though that it is not uncommon for such 1D shutters to last past 500K or even 1 million frames. On the other hand one might preventively replace a well working shutter and have the bad luck with the new shutter failing in 10K while the old one may have lasted for few hundred thousands more
