Kyle, I think #1 has pretty strong lighting. #2 and #3, in my opinion, are close but suffer from specular highlights. I'm not positive how you lit #2, but maybe you could try diffusing the light a bit or backlighting the fruit in order to reduce the highlights on the flesh. #3 has some blown out highlights near the top of the red portion of the berry; could you change the angle of the light or reduce them with curves?
I think that overall they're nice it's just those pesky highlights that bother me a bit.
Kaden- Thanks, I had a lot of fun and love my new lens. Its so sharp.
rgilman- Thanks. For the first one,(because I dont have anything to get my flash off my camera yet) The exposure was about four seconds, so I took the flash off the camera, and used the pilot button so I could use the flash off the camera for that shot. I think it came out really good.
#2 was shot with on camera flash aimed directly at the orange. I kind of like the blown highlight, it makes it seem kind of shiny, but I definitely see where your coming from.
#3 I'll try using curves to reduce the blown highlights.
The first is the strongest image. Notice that with strawberries capturing fresh looking green top is difficult. I suspect unless you pick them yourself, getting them very fresh may be the problem.
