I'm curious if it's possible to utilize the cp-e3 with the 285hv's. I know I can power both the 580ex and the 285HV with a jtl/lumedyne/quantum high voltage pack with the proper cable, which brings me to trying to figure out what the third wire on the CP-E3 does as the 285hv only has two pins. Of course, I can't find a wiring schematic for either.
