Would like to know if anyone has any experience printing on this Epson Exhibition fiber paper especially with the Epson 3800, what setting would I use etc.
Thanks in advance Randall
I discovered this paper on sale at Atlex.com a while back, ordered some 13x19, then 17x22, and I'm ready to stock up on more, though it will be awhile before I use what I have. The prices there are astonishing for such a great paper. I've been printing color images with the 3800 and they are all stunning. Heavy weight feel, nice gloss, Epson profiles seem right on to me. You use the gloss setting ( forget the actual name, Premium Gloss?). You definitely should try some out if you need a glossy surface.

Thanks tomrock you rock--I knew about "it supplies", use them all the time but didn't know about B&H
What do you guys think about using this paper on hardboard and sprayed , no glass no frame.
Thanks Again Randall
Check out Atlex. I think all sizes are on sale there and I doubt you can beat the rices.
So far I have my prints unframed, not-sprayed, waiting for me to decide what to do. I dont have any experience with hardboard. Images are fine a few months out.

Double checked since I dont trust my memory and I havent printed for about a month. Pixel Genius and other sites recommend Premium Luster Photo Paper.
The paper is glossy, with a slight stiple and is very bright. Less stiple than Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl, glossier than Smooth Pearl and some other Lusters, brighter.

I have an affiliate relationship with B&H, so I obviously think they are a fine source of all things photographic and I shop there myself.
I also use IT Supplies for certain printing materials (ink, paper) and, although I have no financial relationship with the company, I want to say that their service has really been great. They have called me personally on more than one occasion when a product wasn't ready to ship, and they frequently split shipments so that they can get the in-stock product to me immediately and then follow up very quickly with the remainder of the shipment.

It's a great paper. The surface is a little delicate but I give a light spray with Premier Print Shield and the prints are great.
I wish Pixel Genius would come out with the profile for the 3880.
Exhibition Fiber is my favorite Epson paper. No question! But it can be a bit fragile if not handled carefully and prone to losing fiber after it's been used for a print. And, unfortunately, that leaves a nice little white spot in the middle of the print. Don't ask me how I know this.
Once I learned to be more careful, no further issues. But who knows how careful a client might be? I think I'm going to get a can of the Print Shield recommended above.
Hi All,
I made two 9"x12" prints on a sheet of Ex Fiber Paper(13"x19"). On one print the paper type setting was Premium Glossy, the othe was Premium Luster. I can't see any difference. Both look very good. Maybe I don't know what to look for, but they look the same to me. Printing on the 3880.
