p.1 #1 · Zeiss Distagon T* 21mm f/2.8 in stock at B&H
I just ordered mine, my first lens puchas since 2008, and I can't wait to see what I can do with this lens and my 1DsII. I'm pretty sure I can't blame my equipment for anything at this point. This is my first Zeiss purchase and I just wish I'd bought it before the price increase. In the unlikely event that the lens isn't for me then I'm pretty confident its resale value will hold up nicely.
Best of luck getting one who knows how many they have in stock at this point. I'll try to get out this weekend for some testing. Take it easy,

It's not just the Zeiss 21mm that is in stock. All of the Zeiss ZE lenses are now instock. Most of them were listed as out of stock recently, so for those of you looking for the other focal lengths, then buy now!

Too bad the prices recently went up a lot.
Yeah I agree I knew I would run out of time in mid December and wasn't going to make a purchase until about this time, so I just accepted that as a bad break.
I strongly considered the 24L II but it wasn't rebated so I decided to wait awhile and see if the Zeiss came back in stock, because I'd like to own them both one day but can't afford to own them both right now. I wanted to get my hands on the Zeiss first..If the Zeiss makes me want to dump my 16-35L II then I'l sell it and go after the 24L II and I'll be back to all primes. If the Zeiss isn't for me I'll sell it and go after the 24L II that way. Either way I can't justify owning all three lenses.
