Going back to some earlier images, I thought I'd post some from Delicate Arch. I visited in December for the first time and it was very impressive to see in person. I spent a couple of hours shooting and while trying to come up with something a little creative, I got the last one. It's a blend of two exposures to try to get it right. I was very happy to get some snow, which I think helped enhance the textures in the rocks behind the arch. I panned down slightly to enhance that on the second shot.
As always, any comments and critiques are welcome.
I like 'em all...I saw that Arch, but from a distance--I just didn't have the endurance to get a closer look/shot (I was 71 y.o. then, and a 'smoker' for nearly 60 of those 71 years)

These are wonderful. I particularly like the last one. It is an unusal and intriguing take from there.

Thanks Ute. I'm glad it's a unique view of the arch. I hadn't seen anything like that prior to the trip, so I thought I'd try to capture something new and creative.
Thanks to everyone else for commenting. I like the first the most out of this group. I just like the way it shows the arch at its finest, golden light and snow in the background. Thanks again!
