When the firmware update for the 5D Mark II was announced on October 20, 2009 Canon clearly stated that it would be released during the 1st Half of 2010. The release schedule is still on target
Um.. its like the most critical piece... Cuz its either asking or saying... You have info, or you don't... There's lots of people waiting for the update... And they've been waiting for a while... So to see a title like yours, only to find that it didn't have any info, is kind of heart crushing... When peoples feelings are messed with.. They can get rightfully fiesty...
And there are definitely people who purposely use misleading titles on their threads just to get more views in hopes of getting an answer...
While its not the end of the world, its kinda counterproductive for a forum... But then again, so is a lot of other stuff here.. It also doesn't warrant rude behavior but maybe you can understand how to title your threads in consideration for others...
Do you think they will incorporate increased exposure compensation override as in the 7D? I would really like to see that. Plus or minus 2 EV just doesn't cut it on an upper level camera like this. Even the new T2i has + or - 5 EV in manual mode so I'm guessing it's + or - 3 in Av mode. The 5d2 is stuck at 2.
