I currently use the built-in Nikon wireless capabilities but I'm limited by two things: I can't always get line-of-sight between me and the remote flash, and sometimes I am too far (sometimes as little as 30 feet) for the remote flash to "see" the commander flash on my camera (but I rarely need wireless flash over more than 100 feet or so). I can't be tethered to anything while on-location, so no AC power or flash sync cords. I think the following combo will do the trick for me:
Cybersync CST transmitter
Cybersync CSRB receiver
Right?
Sorry for the long post on such a simple question. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hey Bryan, that's what I use. I was confused by all of the types at first. I believe this is the most basic of the cybersync triggers. They haven't failed me once...I love them
Now all I have to do is figure out the differences between all of the radio poppers (ttl) when I can afford then
Hopefully you understand that the Nikon CLS system won't work with the Cybersync system. You will need to fire all your flashes in manual mode. Depending on your flash you may need to get a hotshoe mount so that you can trigger the flash.
