Mine is tack sharp and el-cheapo adapter bought in eBay with focus confirmation chip. However now I do not need them as I have changed to EE-S precision focusing screen on my 5D

Lynn, i have used the below adapters on my MF lenses and have had no AF confirmation issues nor any mounting issues on the lenses:
I've finally got the adapter worked out and now I get to go and take photos, this lens is still a learning process for me and I like the fact that I have to keep working on my PP and Sharpening processes along with my eye's not being young any more but they work good enough.
So here are a few that I have taken in the last couple of day's and there a little over sharp to me but I'll keep on learning.

F/8 50mm really had a good time with this lens. I use a camera that doesn't have live view so when I put them in lightroom and view on my computer they really, if in focus, look good

Hi there!
Here is my disclaimer.......The following are from a Yashica ML Zoom 35-70mm F3.5-4.8. No, it doesn't have the "Contax/" in front of it, but hey, whatever. It cost 35 dollars on Ebay. It is SHARP, I like it a lot. Nuff said?
I'm not worthy (yet). First outing with 35-70 on 5D. I was experimenting on shooting a very backlit scene when the buck deer ambled through. I lost my mind and forgot to stop down. So this is at f/3.4.
