Asian festivities are always colourful and charged with a lot of energy... Older ladies tend to be quite straightforward in their emotions and comments which can make a grown man blush..

Lol..indeed.. Once one old lady approached me and when she found out my wife and me don't have any kids yet, she started describing female anatomy in details and how a tough man should "give it" to his wife.. lmao
If I am still here when you come over, I might provide some assistance perhaps...
Search for "Contax 35-70mm f3.4".
There's one in Germany for ~$660 which has been there for a long time; for some reason it doesn't show up on ebay.com even though it ships worldwide.
I always search on ebay.nl...
Haah - thanks Kros! - I now see a spot on the dog photo - must have been a rain drop - sorry about the poor processing - I'm so busy out in the field this time of year and have hundreds of images non-processed - I really need stop and spend the time to learn the work flow of how to process for the web or stop posting.
I have the same pp situation here - rapidly running out of disk space, but feel uneasy deleting all original shots...
Haven't noticed the spot at all - the handsome guy drew all the attention to his face..

Thinking about selling my 35-70...would the price in the region of $670 be fair?
Still not sure if I will do it though...
I think posts like this one have raised the value and scarcity recently. Going from about $350 just a few months ago to about $600 now!
I been trying to get one for under $400, then $500. Recently tried to get a few at $350, but lost out.
You can probably get around $600 in mint condition now. The superb IQ + price has made this lens a steal, but once price becomes too high, I think it's value will be questionable. My guess is that the escalation of prices will taper off as it approaches the price of the Canon 24-105is. But, many FMers (and others) believe it's the equal to many primes, so it's value in terms of that is quite high.
I got my mint one from KEH for $429 in mid April. Since then I have seen some go in the $500 range, and few for over $600, and one beater I saw a go on eBay recently for $318.
