When I was in Hokkaido about 5 years ago, I went up a mountain near the hotel one early morning. On the way down a little fox came out behind me. I turned around and aksed "Could you pose for me for a moment?" and crouched with the camera. The fox patiently waited until I was finished and said "Thank you!", then lazily sauntered off into the bushes..
The shots are fantastic!!!
Here is one urban animal, though It got mad amount of fringing.. All my glas seem to produce that...

Can't be hotter than Japan...excess of 30 every day and constant humidity. I can't even lift the camera, much less to venture outside..

Great series, but #3 looks like it's taken with a fisheye lens. I didn't realize the barrel distortion shows so strongly at 35mm... (also in #1 and #2 now that I look again)
Funny how the Fanta Cassis/Blackcurrant also has the logo text in Japanese, btw.
