I'm no fan of "flare" photos. But I like your model and the way you've photographed her. I'd wish for the same set of photos with no flare.

Wait. These were shot in NZ? It was If that's the case, where
the hell is NZ in these shots Rian?!?!?! I've been there, but this
just looks like it was shot in my backyard here in Delaware

But, I actually like the second to last one.

What a fun series & nice SOOC! You probably already have this in mind when you PP these, but
1 - I'd clone the telephone pole out
3 - I think this image really needs to include her feet - the emphasis is on her travelling uphill & without feet I'm not feeling it anywhere near as much as your other images

Come back & show us the finished product!

p.2 #6 · Beautiful girl in the mountains

There is a book series by Harry Turtledove called World At War. In the book there is a character by the name of Ludmila Gorbanova who is a female pilot who crashes her biplane in the country and has to find her way back to friendly territories. (well that's just part of the bigger story)

BUT! I couldn't help but think of her when viewing these pics. I like the series of pics which gives it a sense of story to them. What was the purpose of this shoot?

The only quip i have about the photos is in #4, the lens flare (which i'm a huge fan of if its used right) is just taking away from the photo. I think it could work but its just a little too much. Now, I don't know the purpose of this shoot and they haven't been retouched which we all know you love to do!!
Those are just my thoughts.

thanks,

Ed

he'll probably clone it out.

Been looking at your website. Have you made some sort of "behind the scenes" video from this shoot?
