The detail this MP picked up is just stellar. Also noticed a few spots of purple fringing. Meh.
In other news...decided yesterday I'm going for the 25mm f/2 ZF.2. Can't wait to get it. Now just waiting for BH to open to I can order the lens and get it here by Thursday.

Brilliant, Adele. Thanks for the link. A few days ago I was really leaning towards the 28/2, now, after watching Prisoner of Azkaban, which was shot with lenses ranging from 14mm to 24, I'm kinda leaning to the 25 for a wider cinematic field of view. Even up close it would create a wonderful look, especially wide open.
But I keep wondering - will those 3mm make a wide-angle difference either way? Ugh!
You are welcome. I hope that the link is helpful for you.
One thing that you might want to look into is the difference in field curvature of the two lenses and how those would work for your style of shooting. Some people don't care for the curvature of the 28mm, but other people like it a lot and feel that it lends itself to some nice artistic opportunities.
A few from yesterday with 25mm f/2 ZF.2 and the D750
The last one is so not perfect, but I don't care. It's nearly impossible focusing on these monkeys with a manual focus lens. ...takes an immense amount of patience.
