I continue to lurk and admire everyone's great work. It's been 3 years now that I've been coming here. Participating as I can but always viewing the thread about every day. The good news is that's about to change and I should be back contributing some of my own work soon.
I finally pulled the trigger on a 135 APO tonight. Send up some good vibes, prayers - whatever's necessary with hopes that my lens doesn't get lost in the UPS Christmas Rush Black Hole. Someone post some new Zeiss 135 photos as I need a fix!
I know you will enjoy the 135/2, but please realize regulations say you can't use it within a fifty mile radius of Knoxville
And tell me, seriously, that you have your lenses and camera bodies shipped no slower than 2 day delivery. I generally have anything of major value shipped next day delivery, a.m. Compared to 3 day or regular service, that cuts out several trucks and 3-4 handling events. Worth every penny.
@Dan - Somehow I overlooked that regulation. Fortunately, I'm exempt due to regulation 14-22-y (which means absolutely nothing but sounds good).
The lens is being sent Priority Express but I'm not holding my breath. I've had too many instances this time of year. No worries though as there's more important things in life to be concerned over. We need to make a time to shoot together. Winter is my slow time with the lawn care business so I'll have time whenever you're ready.
