Very nice Ulff. We will go there this year as well during our vacation. It seems we made a good choice.
Thanks - and yes, you made a good choice. IMO this is the most impressive landscape area in Germany with lots and lots of interesting views. The image with the bridge on the right side e.g. is called "Die Bastei", probably the most touristic place, but there are so many other great places.
^^ Very nice shot Ronny. That one has lots of 3D to my eyes. Here is a set from a local bridge all with the ZE 21mm f/2.8 at f/5.6. I think this lens can work well for portraits and I tried that for the last three. You do end up very close to the subject, which is nice for a toddler but may be a bit uncomfortable with an adult. I was just over a foot away and not more than two feet for those shots.
OMG, I haven't checked this thread in such a long time. The photos here just blow my eyes! I need to dust off my makro planar. You guys!!!! *shakes fists* (lol)
With the last of my ZE lenses now up for sale, I was reviewing images taken with them and got a bit nostalgic...thought I'd post two for old times sake.
I'm mostly a lurker who has gained so much from the work of the photographers on this forum. Sincere thanks to all the posters who have helped with my photo education and provided inspiration.
