Thanks a lot for your feedback and comments, they help a lot, I wasn't very confident about the image. The aperture was f2.0 btw, I love the rendering of the Zeiss wide open (although the CAs are sometimes too pronounced for my taste).

Believe it is from the sun ... missed and overexposed some (a lot actually)
is perhaps not so good to shoot straight into it (has no lenshood to the leeholder ) just when it rise ... thought it was cool anyway

Just back from a trip to Northumberland where I got to shoot with some Zeiss glass again.

This is from the beach at Bamburgh, ok so sunrise was a bust but the cloud formations before sunrise were cool.
5d2 + 25/2.8 ZF

On the horizon are the Farne Islands. The closest one resembles a surfacing submarine or is that just my imagination?
