My first post in this forum and am new to taking landscapes too. Until the last couple of weeks or so have only really taken macro shots, then I bought a Zeiss Distagon T* 2/35 ZE and am loving it, below are a couple of the of images. these were both shot in Shropshire, UK not too far from where I live, processing was with UFRaw and The Gimp. C&C welcome.
Many thanks JSPhotos and RiverGuy, very much appreciated. My problem now is a lust for more Zeiss glass, I have a feeling that a Distagon T* 21/2.8 will be arriving to keep the 35/2 company before very long!
thanks everybody for the likes and akul for the comment,
Adrian, wonderful first post, looking forward to many more like this
Ronny that is your best of this series, awesome light!
Toothwalker, as lovely a portrait as the previous ones!
Steve, very nice first shots with the 100 MP, you should post this at the alt flower thread as well!
here is another one with the same pp as the previous 2
Stopped by the local camera shop here in town to pick up my new 21/2.8 from Zeiss after a whole bunch of complications and eventually they just said screw it sell him a new one for the (not insignificant) price of the repair. Anyway, while there I had an opportunity to toy around with their only 135/2 APO ZE. HOLY HELL, what an astonishing lens. Only snapped a few photos of people but it is incredible!
