Hikawa Maru (氷川丸 ) is a historical Japanese ocean liner connecting Japan, USA and Canada between 1930 and 1960.
Many prominent people enjoyed cruising with this luxury ship, one of them is Charlie Chaplin in his world tour in 1932.
At that time the first class ticket was 500 yen, quite steep price considering that with 1000 yen people could build a house.
Now it is anchored permanently and open to public at Yamashita Park, Yokohama as a floating museum.
