bruni - Very nice composition.
Ronny - The train shot is very crisp. I feel like I got on that type of train in Denmark. Very nice one.
Rodluvan- Love the first 3. Beautiful capture of subtle drama.
Thanks Daniel and luka :-)
Well I've had sigmat a while but found it has some problems with AF
and did not want to send in for adjustment, etc. so I sold it
short distance went well but over 10 feet so it was a bit uncertain
Love the first picture .. really good
Ronny - I really like the spatial rendition on that one.
prosep- Beautiful flower shots. #3 is my fav.
frezeiss - Miss your photos !
Itruong - Beautiful salt field shots. Amazing texture. All very beautiful but #3's composition is just great, while the color of #2 is also quite beautiful.
akul - thanks a lot! I like your light snowscapes with the 35/1.4, have you corrected LOCAs in those?
prosep - Great bokeh and DOF in your MP100 shots, particularly in #3.
ltruong8 - crisp detail and texture, like you say a little oversharpened in the resized verisons here, they look much better in the original size on Flickr.
Rodluvan - beautiful blue tones in #1 and great expression in the man contemplating the light falling snow.
Bob - interiors keep coming, the black boiler is may recent favorite, too.
Great marine images from you Jako and Ronny!
Some snow/marine stuff from me as well, I have just acquired Helena´s Distagon 35/1.4, this one is wide open:
It´s a bit premature to draw conclusions on the 35/1,4 I think. I have only had it for a few days, and there is still very little light up north where I live. The sun has just returned and can be glimpsed between heavy snowfalls. One thing I have learned is that when used wide open the lens can give some challenging LOCA´s, especially when snow is the subject. I have let Lightroom do some slight corrections of green and purple fringing in the image above.
But wide open sharpness and contrast seems good, and the Zeiss pop is there I think. Very smooth bokeh...
@Twoeye: I have just acquired a Nikon D700 to use my Distagon 35 1.4. So far I did not see any problems or issues which I used to see when using it on Nex 5n. Much less LoCA, barely see Flare when pointing directly to light sources at close distance at wide or near wide open...But I still don't have much time to play with them, will do this weekend and update you all .
rji2goleez I believe you've already posted a majority, if not all, of those. Nice none the less. I especially like 2nd one. The last two show some significant wide angle distortion towards the edges.
Here's one with 2/28 @ 8 (I like it b/c of the colours and perceived depth)
