Nice car shots with the 35 FrancoisXavier. This thread really gets my mind scheming on how to acquire more zeiss glass! I just luv the look of those 1.4/35 photos.
nice work nibutto! love your pp style, very colourful and lots of pop. Im not sure if i like it for the last image though, the background looks a tad too vibrant for me. Nice street shot freezeiss, wish I could be brave enough to get into street photog
Thanks, Rirakuma. Now get out with your camera and onto the streets you go I recommend using a 28 or 35 as your starting point. You will be more rewarded using moderate wide angle in street.
I use to be shy also but once you get the hang of it and quite used to the stare that people gave me, its all good. Nothing beats the versatility (and weight!!) of and slr + MF lens for street.
You can hate on the PP if you'd like. It was taken during the middle of the day and I wanted to tone down the harsh contrast and give it a specific 'feel'.
edit: also I apologize for anyone offended by the background; I could lie and say I was going for a dichotomy between beauty and obscene but truthfully I didn't notice until post- I still like the image as a whole though.
Yes, but the girl so dull (and blended in with the background) and the paintings so in focus & colorful, I am not sure which is the subject - would try to "pop" the girl more if that is the subject!

re. Johnny B Goode's shot - I thought the girl was drawn onto the wall and in which case it is very cool (has plenty of 3D pop) and I love the dichotomy !
