Mike Reid, very nice light and colors in your set above. Earlier you posted a couple of 100mm shots of a gray cat that I really liked, but forgot to comment on.
A couple from Stockholm. I only brought ZE 35/1.4 and it was perfect. Lovely rendering and a pleasure to use, but for street photography I missed AF. Hope it'll get easier over time, so that I won't regret selling 35L.
I have been too busy and no time to post here. Thank you to all who gave me comments. As always, so many wonderful shots in the past few pages, Martynas, Reagan, Lieutenant, Lars, mortyb, Helena, Samuli, Philippe, mike, just to name a few from quick browsing, but not at all limited to the people above. This thread always gives me inspiration. Shots from a few weeks ago.
Right. All these 100 MP images have finally done it. I'm going to be selling my Contax 100 f2 AEG and buying a ZE. I tried a 21mm extension tube on the Contax and the LOCAs were too ugly. I'm hoping the ZE isn't as bad, and so far I have no macro lens so I think it's time!
Picture this - Nice composition. It feels somehow a bit noisy as if a thin layer film is covering over the image though. It could be the laptop monitor, or could it be PP? Looking forward to see more shots from 800e ! ( See my new comment down this page, it seems it was just either the laptop, or the angle I was looking at , or something. )
frezeiss - Wow, I love to be living where you are living ! Last shot is definitely my fav.
prosep - Welcome back. I like the #1 very much with its dynamic composition.
Philippe - Yeay statue ! I am just reminded that your statue shots back in the early pages got me deep into zeiss land. Love the use of dark background. You don't even need to go wide open to make vignetting effect in this viewpoint. Glasses adds nice humor. It is like one of those post cards I'd buy So happy you are back here more regularly.
Philipe, thanks! its a lovely place indeed, will post some more of the place if you're interested.
The sunglasses makes it a hillarious shot.. Really good to see you posting again.
Luka, Its funny, I want to be where your living too
Anyways, the waterfall shot I enjoyed the composition but do you like the shutter speed as it is or you want it slower but not having an ND filter with you? I usually do those shots the silky smooth type.. All is a matter of taste, just like Steaks, med rare or well done
