Great shots, te4o, especially the first one! - Regarding the PP of my above pictures: I just played with some Lightroom-sliders (exposure, blacks, white, curve, contrast, local adjustments, saturation)
Thank you, Ucphotog! This was near darkness. And 2 hours back to the car...
Phillip, I am impressed by the colors and resolution of your shots. That combination seems great: are there any adapters from Zeiss ZE to Sony? With aperture control of course. After that dilemma with the 5D3 I am looking for alternatives...
Luka, this is a gallery shot - for the room with the high ceiling!
The past 5-6 months have been quite hectic and it has been a long while since I posted in this thread [~page 350 I think] and I am slowly catching back up. Lots of good photos continue to be posted. I am amazed. And this thread is inching up to 500 pages. Wow!
Anyway, one "old" shot from the 21 Distagon + 5d2. Trying out some settings in LR4.
Edward : like the 2nd one. Love the contrasting blue and orange/red hues.
Phillip: like the 3rd, 4th and 5th images in the set.
Ulff: In the 2nd shot, I'd totally missed noticing the people in the mid/lower left. Gives a sense of scale! What color were the sandstone [?] formations ? [Trying to compare it to some of the similar formations here out of curiosity]
Thanks for all comments! @abhijeeth: the color of the sandstone formations is grey, definitely brighter than shown on the last page. Here are two more images, ZE 21 again:
