Thanks guys!
Congrats user222. The 50MP also was my very first zeiss.
I've already talked quite a lot about the fine detail the 35/1.4 ZE/ZF captures, also in other threads. Many people don't seem to believe it.
I'm sorry if it bores you, but let me show another crop, from that last photo I posted:
Smridevan - Very nice set of portraits. First one , with the dynamic diagonal, caught my attention, then the #3 pauses some tension as if the sphere may fall on her. Cool shot.
Thorsten - Nice portraits with 100MP and 1.4/35. #1 especially .
R.Young - Nice capture of sky and powerful waves. I like the light and composition of the first one very much. Last one, with the road cone in center, has commentary. Too bad the little shrub got in the way. I like it nevertheless.
Thanks Luka, the weather was very harsh that day, gale force. It was also pretty tricky getting into a good position for most shots too as the waves were a bit unpredictable and the splash / mist was worrying me
Sharp-as-a-Tack-Akul is right Robert but I think he understated how remarkable is the 1st one.
Thorsten, you might be unaware but using good looking kids creates a disadvantage for the other photographers and is frowned upon here.
Very 'Pervy' Z
Very 'Pretty' Smridevan and the pictures too.

Thank you! I hadn't used my 100/2 for a while, and discovered again how much I like it.

, those very kids come with a built-in "defocus" mechanism that counteracts that advantage.
But seriously, is anybody using the ZF/ZE 35/1.4 for moving subjects? Never mind running people - even when they sit in one place and just move the head around a little, I have the hardest time to focus with this lens. I get a good keeper rate with the 100/2, even wide open, but almost none with the 35/1.4 even at f/2. The shot above was the best from a series, and it's still not perfectly in focus (focus is in front of the eyes).

He is a swede (I love saying that) and his name is Daniel and a lovely swede (see I just can't stop myself). Do we have anybody here from Turkey? Any Turkeys?
