As this is my first post in this thread in 2012: happy new year everyone!
Luka, nice abstract looking shot!
Philippe, nice light.
Bernd, great looking portraits! Nice to see some more of the 85 planar in this thread
Frezeiss, nice composition.
Noodlz, I like the first portrait.
Picture this, great shots as usual.
Jim, nice shots. I like the feel of that one of the glass bowls.
Bob, I like the second photo.
Noodlz, outstandingly beautiful portraits, very tasteful processing.
Picture This!, once again, great scene, great atmosphere.
Bob, superb use of wideangle, reminds me to use ZF18 again.
Jim, those are to good for outtakes. The first one is very powerful and moving.
Jochen, a true classic. Call it a postcard.

The thing that becomes most apparent in all the pictures in this thread is that for all the qualities of any Zeiss lens you can see the photographer above everything else. I will never stop being amazed.

Look at the pictures on this page and look at how happy and broke Smridevan is.
It's quite a paradox indeed! Do we always have to choose between happiness and money?
frezeiss, a beautiful example for a magical landscape shot wide open
Eversince I parted from my beloved brick, an old Volvo 240, I was getting sentimental from time to time, that I did not stage it photographically. So I decided to portrait my new car and drove through the streets of Cologne in search for a good location. I found one and had to cross some lawns and routes for walking slightly unallowed to get there and some folks were looking real leery, but me and my model had a happy session there. All for the art!
I hate scrambling over other beautiful pictures to mention just one but Gee Z ...#1 is stunning.
And as a matter of self indulgence (after all who else reads them) but on the suggestions here I've started a blog.
And you know in the forums when someone starts a thread and in the title it says just some quick photos or just some test photos or I'm a nubie as a way to hide the crap thats about to appear ...
Well instead I'm giving my own blog the rating of 'what else would you expect?
Picture This, philber, joakim and Gunzorro, thank you.
plasticmotif, congratulations on the family.
fracas, I favor the first on with the stronger contrast. This is not an easy scene to exposure, you've done great here.
Toothwalker, I agree with Jim, excellent tones in no. 2.
Jim, the first one is a story, very nice mood in that light.
Lieutenant Z, no. 1, master of the beast, great shot.
frezeiss, almost black & white, great choice!
Picture This!, great exposure! I believe this is my favourite out of your last three.
Tony, bookmarked! Looks great, but it's too early in the morning now, I will enjoy reading in the evening.

Oldmiller, thanks! love your second shot most, is it a commercial?
Thank you! No, it's not a commercial, but indeed I wanted the pictures to look as if they were from one, hence the strange toning and the heavy contrasts.
