Ulff -- I'm anxious to see your comparison of the 90TS and the 100MP. I've got the 100L, but have always wondered about the 90. I've seen lots of great photos from the 100MP, but the 90 is an unknown quantity to me.

The 90TS is the more specialized lens IMO. The possibilities and results are really great if you have enough time (and a tripod) to take the shot. It's the only lens I have that I would like to use more than I actually do (and will do because of the 100MP) and one of the very few lenses that surprises me again and again with it's image quality.
Back to the ZE-lenses. The first one is with the ZE 100, wide open, stitched from 21 single images in three lines, handheld. The second one is with the ZE 35. I like the shot, but it needs probably better PP.
Amazing portraits, DJ!
Remarkable work, once more, Markus!
Morrie, your shots are amazing, the third one only more so.
Love your second shot, Akul!
Great catch, Rajan!
More akulian beauty/talent, with N° 2 &3 my faves. Particlualry n°2, with a very elegant control of dynamic range, and nice foreground/background balance. Not that the sunset in N°3 leaves anything to be desired either...
Brilliant set, Wiseguy. I really like your library shot, which you manage to look effortless. But my vote goes to the two twilight views of the cathedral. Pure romance!
The first shot in your second post appeals a lot, Luka. It has some trace of Samuli in it, with the sharpness falloff, but also something else, with the flare and feeling of warm sun going down. Very nice!
I am a little confused. I have found references and even reviews to a ZE Mount 25 f/2.8, and I want to buy one. However, my camera store cannot find me the lens, and B&H lists all of the other mounts (Nikon, Pentax, etc.) but no ZE? Canon users of 25mm f/2.8, are you not using a ZE mount? Please advise.
John, there never was a ZE 25mm. There was a 25mm in Nikon mount (ZF) and Pentax mount (ZK), because those product lines were released before the Canon-mount ones. By the time Zeiss started releasing ZE lenses, they felt that the 25 ought to be redesigned, and all 25s were discontinued, pending a full redesign. Then; for some unexplained reason, they reintroduced the 25 in Nikon mount in the same version as before, still pending the redesign. This should appear fairly soon now, if rumours are to be believed.
Hope this helps
Has anyone else experienced this? I've a 50 ZE 1.4 and when the files are imported in to Lightroom the lens profile that is automatically applied is for the 50 makro planar. Easily enough fixed but if there is a fix that you know about let me know! ta
From Acadia National Park, ME in dawn
I screwed up on this one, forgot to set proper ISO. Shot in ISO 800, so I could not push fill light any further. Oh well.
buzzski -- Sorry to hear about that. It does seem like it should automatically default to your lens profile.
Try manually selecting the ZE 50/1.4 setting in the lens profiles, then go to the Setup Default choice area in Profile, select "Save New Lens Profile Default". That should allow the 50/1.4 to become the default whenever you click the Profile box for that lens.

Hope that does it for you.
Thanks for that! Will go and give it a go now! Ta, Craig
