Steve: I never would have guessed that it was taken at Petit Jean! You see, I wander off into the Cedar Falls trail I've seen the car show signs outside, but I've never had the time to go check it out. Will probably try to do so this fall.
Tri Tran: those cherries do pop indeed. Nice!
alkanphel: Nice colors !
ccho: good shots. You seem to be standing in the right 1/3rd of the road and there seems to be traffic on both sides of the camera! Parked car/bike ?!
victor: magic hour power is my pick!
juan: nice!
PS: new 35 1.4 owners: congrats! For my own financial good, I will ignore all of your shots from this lens for a while !

Thanks abhijeeth,there's a small painted divider in the middle of where Broadway and 5th Avenue converge. It's slightly precarious since it's not brightly lit and some taxi drivers like to create lanes where they don't exist! Here's a quick reference of the spot I took a number of the photos from:

Jae: Did you also do some mini gymnastics of some kind on this road to get your shots?

Good to hear B SMOOTH. The 35/2 is a real gem of a lens. The problem is that so are most of the other Zeiss lenses!
