Have been too busy lately and missed too many pages here. Yet it's such a pleasure to plunge into this thread after a break!
Here's an old pic from this winter (2/100 ZF.2):
Hello everybody, et bonjour monsieur le président du photographie Philber, I am following this wonderful thread for app. a year now and guess what... the Carl Zeiss-bug has bitten me too, as it is for already some time ago, but no harm was done. On the contrary. Now I am the prowd owner of a Zeiss MP50 and oooh boy, what a difference this is than from what I was used to deal with. Still left with a few questions about software etc. but for now I am playing and exercising... what a joy, what a joy!

partitura - Great atmosphere. PP is supporting the work very well too, but it is the photographer who made it work.
victor - Love those macro shots especially the MiniMals I - Seduction with its great color and clarity, and Playing With SEP
Gsteve - Very interesting shot. it feels like as if the car is an animated character.
JochenB - Amazing shots. Especially #2
Dalmas - I can feel the warmth of sun in those shots.
R.Young - Very cool works with 21. #1, the car shot is just wonderful. #3, the scaffolded shot inside the folly , just captured me. Something about the space and placement of people made this shot stood out.
nickson - That is a great focus point.
NCAndy- Wonderful sky and light. Beautiful.
Jim - That is a paw !
From Clarence Fahnestock State Park. ZF35 + Polarizer . Somehow, it felt like I wanted to replicate the feeling of slide film on this shot, hence the black border.
Thanks Akul, Dalmas & SKumar25 for the comments. It may be a little over the top in this particular group of talented photographers, but I really wanted to isolate a very unique car in the midst of the chaos of a swap meet/car show. I think the ZE 21mm enabled me to do that.
Akul: very good, the polarizer makes it pop and the strong colors work well for me. Beautiful!
Jim: another very good composition and a strong, clean shot.
Visca: eye popping cityscape! Superb!
GSteve : which car show was this? Vintage cars are timeless classics IMO, I could spend hours admiring them
Sorry for the overload of superlatives, the pics are nice and they all have strong colors, it feels like I have had some nice, spicy curry !
abhijeeth it was the Petit Jean Annual Swap Meet & Auto Fair at the Museum of the Automobile, Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas. A lot of old cars, hot rods and rusty car parts. For a photographer, what's not to like!
