Anyone know why there is such a strong bleed down from the sun in this photo taken with my new 100MP ZF.2? This is straight out of the camera (only cropped a bit) and I had the lens hood on.

Yes, I recognize this from when I had a D700. The "bleeding" happened with any lens shooting into the sun at 1/1000s or faster. According to Nikon customer service, it's caused by reflections from the shutter curtain(s). IMO not impressive design.
Mortyb - Thanks for the info about the shutter speed into the sun with Nikons. I had no idea what was causing the bleeding, and I am very happy to know it is not something wrong with my new 100MP. Not happy, though, that it is my D700!
R. Young - That is a beautiful bridge.
alkanphel - I like the use of oof cage on the parrot shot. Nice effect.
abram - Those shots are just gorgeous in my opininon
FlyPenFly - Whoa ! Very nice ! First is the one on the SW, and second is the one on the SE of reservoir aren't they ? Enjoying the 85 ZA rendering. Quite nice.
Jim - Ah, that is the one on the north of reservoir. Very nice find of the sympathetic tree shape.
James - Lovely flowers
akul - Thank you very much. It was a little tough to get a decent exposure as it was well over 100 degrees and the sun was very high (wrong time to shoot but I didn't really have a choice)
Sorry boys and girls was very very busy lately! Lots of wonderful images! It is always so good to visit this place and just to enjoy great photography!
Luka you b&w bridges are spectacular - I would hang them on my wall any second!
So here is all the variety of different portraits I took during last weeks. All shot with 100mm and mostly wide open...
Wow Martynas, so good to see your photos again.
They are simply amazing. Beautifully conceived and executed with strong concept that gives unique look to each of them. I really enjoy the series. Hope to see more of your work soon !!
And, thanks Phillip, Martynas for your kind words.
