Thanks guys, I'm trying to get the hang of the 85. I find that if I treat it like I would my 50L I seem to be able to curtail the focus shift issues. Hasn't been a problem so far, as long as I stay away from MFD.
The ZE 35 I'm quite comfortable with already as I know that focal length well. Lastly, the ZE 21 has been an interesting lens so far. I really like most everything about it, though I occasionally have wished for a wider shot (not enough to go back to a 16-35 though)
Flypenfly - I have only had that happen once that's a great shot by the way, I would "re-blog" it on Tumblr, but I don't typically do that sort of thing as I try to keep my blog populated with only my images.
As usual, this thread keeps going from strength to strength. It's been ages since I've posted, but I finally braved the heat and humidity to get out and about with the ZF.2 2/35, now sitting proudly on a D700.
Went for a wander in a more characterful area of Dubai - trying to get away from the glitz and glamour and find more traditional areas to shoot some street scenes, which lend themselves to black and white - here's an entrance to the spice souk:
