FlyPenFly: Haha! Thanks - good to be able to help ;-) I must say though that this is not the 21 at it's best - I went beyond the diffraction limit (f/5.6) to almost-maximize DOF (f/16), but on the expense of sharpness & detail.

Commenting on the shots from this page, lots of good work in the previous pages.
MJW - good colors!
MorrieC: nice shot but also made me go "waaaaaaaaaaaaah " !! I was in and around Seattle last week but the weather gods were looking elsewhere. Would have loved to see Mt Rainier from Seattle city...
prosep: nice, gentle colors. IMHO, that file can take a tad more sharpening.
Lars : that 2nd shot is very nice!
Kiddik, Manu : good stuff from the 21
MJWong, great macros very clear images,
prosep, love the work you did with 21
dunzie, especially like the 3rd one,
kiddik, why? You have a very good work with that lens.
Lars, love the first one
melb, 2nd is my pick
5.6 limit? Aren't you being a litlle unfair with the 21 ?

Not at all Here's one example, although between f/8 and f/16. 100% crops from various points. The images definitely loose a lot of "pop" once beyond f/5.6, although I consider f/8 to be safe. This is of course relevant only if you're nuts, not seeing the trees because of the forest :-) And of course DOF is often more important than per pixel quality.

that is a beautiful shot Ulff. Perhaps the sharpening can be taken down a notch ? To my eyes the water appears a tad too sharp (bottom right).
Wanted some input on a lens decision. Is the ZM 35mm f/2 better than the ZM 35mm f/2.8? I looked at two reviews and they seem pretty closely matched, except for the full stop difference. I'm thinking of getting one for my M9 for a trip this summer.
