I like the 50P very much and will buy one some day, but for now I have stopped comparing the two lenses almost completely, and am just using the one I already own.
You are welcome. I like your tree shot as well. I've been following the discussion on the 50s with great interest [from the earlier pages in this thread] and also your recent, specific observations as well. Looks like we bought the MP around a similar time frame [give or take a month! I bought mine about 6 weeks ago ] and I didn't take to the lens immediately but began to love it over time.
Will share my observations and also post some pictures soon.
photoArne: fabulous pics , all of them!
Ajay: you are making life very difficult with those shots from the 35 1.4 of the japanese maple tree!!!
alkanphel, carsten - thanks It was a 'no contrast' kind of day. I already boosted contrast, but did not go too far to keep it related to what I saw.
Julian - Beautiful shots from Tybee island.
Lars - Great shots. Love your work with 100MP very much.
Johnahill - Nice shots of cars. Love the second shot.
Ajay - Gorgeous shot, especially the first one.
Carsten - Love the Nikolai church shot very much, but I must agree with Bobu, that the tree shot is quite beautiful. I don't know whether that is your best or not, but quite a damn good shot. Great water, and PP work.
photoArne - Whew. Those shots of frozen crystal shots are amazing. Third shot of the second seiries just blew me away.
sangdabom73 - Great shots of Firenze. They are all beautiful and make me want to go there !! The first one is quite special.
Edgars Kalnins - I like how you captured space on the second shot very much.
The little Arbarths were so much fun. I would have liked to get some decent static shots of them but they were always surrounded by groups of people. Very popular indeed.

Your discourse on this in this forum was a good read, but it's good to see you making the most of your "current" equipment (like your bog shot)!
