Lotus - the color version of "gates of hell" is wonderful
Lars - love the first shot on this page of "food from the market" and the last statue shot
Akul - I like the composition on the boxes pic
Vincent - nice colors and very good use of DOF in all your photos in the last two pages

As a matter of fact...how the heck did you light this (if you don't mind sharing?) My best guess is it's near a lamp or next to a house or something, unless you gelled a flash blue or something...neat however you did it.
Hmm. Should I let out the secret? First, thanks for the comments on this. Both the recent images were re-considered after an attempt at purging my files. Didn't really see anything in them the first time around. The lighting on this, if I remember correctly (it was 10 months ago), was as simple as the headlights of an on coming car. I removed A LOT of blue from the file.
As for a color version of the earlier B&W, here it is (pretty much as straight from the camera). Not really much to it, just some weeds.
Lars, your market shots are awesomely colorful.
OlAf, colorful images, excellent sharpness too.
Ajay, love the softness, color.
Gary, 2nd shot is really nice.
Lotusm50, nice to see color version. BW is surely better.
Dalmas, nice exposure control.
