Before I met Luka and Philippe in Norway for the Lofoten trip (and before I broke my leg) I visited a sled-dog-farm with Samoyeds in Sweden.
Here are some images of these beautiful dogs.

#3 (50MP, f/2.0, too bad that one eye is out of focus):
great images Boris! You were are doing rather well on those fast moving objects! And white on white, which I guess was a challenge for exposure. 4 5 and 8 are my favs, they just have that warm glow! My sister would love this. She does skijöring.
Hey guys,
I recently got back from a trip where I took My M6, and two lenses, one of those lenses being the Zeiss 50 ZM Sonnar.
Here are some shots taken with that lens from the trip.
The LF-look shooting is quite interesting to me. I am not getting what I would call great or beautiful shots with it so far, but there is something there which keeps me coming back, and as a set they are beginning to be quite neat. As spring springs I should be able to get some nicer shots. I have meanwhile also tried the 100MP, although the 200/2 VR definitely gives a stronger look.

thanks for the details. As far as I can see, CS2 only has unsharpen mask and selective sharpening - is that it? ("Selektiver Scharfzeichner") there I can also tick "genauer".
Yes, I'm sure that's it. Smart sharpen was introduced in CS2.
there is also something strange happening to the size of my images. I upload them to zeissimages at 1000 pixels wide, nevertheless they show up here somewhat larger, I made a screenshot, and it is 15% larger in pixel size than my original. that certainly doesn't make it a better image. Maybe I need to tick 1000 pixel when uploading.
here is another try, sharpened in Photoshop using the selective sharpening. Not sure, it is much better.
Make sure that your files aren't being resized when uploading. There should be a setting for this. If not, use another image host.
Regarding that image: think it's just the small scale of the detail that makes it difficult to look nice on a computer screen. Maybe it will look nicer when you post a bigger (1200px wide) version.
By the way, another tip for sharpening is to use LAB mode and only sharpen the Lightness channel. If you sharpen in RGB mode then you will be increasing the saturation of colours, sometimes very noticeably. ok, I will start using it. So far I am only familiar with the unsharp mask tool.

I can tick 1000 pixel as opposed to 2000. Not sure it changes anything.
Any suggestions for a good host? (I keep asking around for a free one)

it sure looked better in the original.

thanks, I need to look into that. Although I have read the whole thread there is just to much information in it to process all at once. I need to re-read some stuff.
But first I am off to a trip to Holland. Spring is a busy time...
Uzay, I like the two tunnel shots very much. I like #1, but I also think that the treatment was a little too heavy. Slightly more light in the shadows, slightly less sharpening, and it would be excellent!

Thank you Carsten, as you explained well i tried to do something but ended up with tired eyes,

The discussion about sharpening in LAB space has me curious. I think that is in the M8/M9 thread. It has lots of potential.
A year ago, i came across a thread in a different site about LAB colors, sharpening, pop-up methods, at first i was excited and thought that finally i found a good technique but after a while i saw that it's not that much interesting as i used to the images.
