This is what I was looking for with the Zeiss, the colors are "special" somehow.

Great works everyone, and thanks for comments !

Joakim - Post more shots from 28 f/2 !! Wonderful color. Ice Crystal shot is beautiful.
taz-k #3 is my favorite. Nice composition
Bob - #2 #3 ( bicycle shots ) are wonderful, but the last one is just amazing to see such a narrow space. wonderful.
Makten - superb shots. Love the 2nd shot. Great composition.
Matynas - Just Wow !! 'Teapot' '3x9' and 'Rusitc' are my most favorites among all other beautiful shots.
plasticmotif - Beautiful cascading water shots.
rsolti13 - Great shots from ZM18 on M8. The 4 stitch church shot is quite amazing.
teh-rebel - Great capture of color and movement.
Gary - I love the POV of the shot. Yellow carriage in oof is very nicely rendered.
Dalmas - Beautiful capture. I can sense the crisp air from your photos. Love the Birds Eye view shot very much.
alkanphel - Beautifll b/w macro shot. 2nd sets are especially speaking to me. Great works.
Denoir - Beautiful shots ! Love the way how blue water recede in the dark blur on first shot. Shot into the sun with tree is beautiful, and the #3 with the amazing color painting snow in blue and orange. Amazing works.
Uzay - I love the stair shots series. Very nice POV and PP. And of course, the yellow jackets, wonderful contrast and mystery.
mshi - wonderful b/w with 35 f/2 The Indian barbie doll is very surreal. Love those feet on #3. Are you getting ready for 35 f/1.4
Carsten - very nice portrait.

Thanks cyra and akul.

Akul, great shots! I especially like the first one.
Makten, I also really enjoy walking around in a harbour. So many colours and textures. Too bad I live in Berlin.

Hey folks, been traveling a bit lately so sorry for not keeping up. I was in Amsterdam on Saturday and the weather was lousy. So, I decided to play with NIK's HDR Efex on a few images. I like the effect but still working on it. Sorry for the watermark but these were posted on flickr where I need to protect from those who don't honor copyright protection.

Every time I look is bigger and bigger selection of amazing images here of all sorts of styles! Good to be part of such a bunch of artists!

alkanphel: your black & white flower images are very beautiful with wonderful tones and composition and in most cases show that legendary Zeiss 3D'iness. I especially like the last shots in both sets!

Luka: you always find that perfect light and perfect composition no matter what you shoot! Images always crisp and done to the highest standard.

pingflood: lovely interaction and moment! Is amazing how dogs love children and what they allow for them! I like vibrant colors!

Uzay: a lovely variety of shots on variety of subjects - I particularly like architectural pieces (though I still can't figure out the 5th shot - it just confuses my brain) and the shot with the hat stand!

mshi: seeing these shots I feel very sad you sold out your Zeiss lens... Wonderful set, great black & white conversions and I just love how you see.

John: great cloud! Dramatic sky and nice view. I would just brighten up a bit the foreground.

carstenw: first class portrait! Great tones! I only would try to keep both eyes in focus.

pingflood: good looking doggy!

akul: what a set! The last one is grand and you already know what I think about it and another black & white! The one with two sail ships is just awesome too!

Makten: you are master of bringing color and texture in your wonderfully composed abstract images! Very enjoyable!

Bob: I see you are having great time other there! I just love how you composed the first shot!

I also want to thank you all for kind comments on my train series!
Vallejo: I am very sorry, but I am not very keen on revealing my PP recipes - I hope you understand!

And here is a bunch of shots (worse and better) from my recent walks in Denver. All with 21 and 100.

Cheers,
Martynas

Akul, thank you for your kind words. Yes, after having sold both 2/100 and 2/35, I have the funds to acquire the new 1.4/35 now but I am still working on the physical strength part. I love your urban landscape shots, particularly the last one.

rji2goleez, great HDR work. how many exposures you used to create the first one?

Diploneis, you've got some really wonderful work here. Are those somewhat tone-mapped in the post-processing? The second one is my fave.

Thanks. These are all single shot HDR with NIK HDR Efex. I'm still learning this kind of processing but I find it can work great on drab grey days.

Hugo, if you don't mind i want to say that i like your natural works better than these ones. IMO, any filtering in Nik destroys Zeiss characteristics.

Lots of wonderful shots in the last few pages. Just a few comments on the last ones:

Bob - I like very much your HDR shots ... only a question: I see some grain... is it an effect you decide to add to the photos or a drawback of Nik?

Martynas - I love all the pics in your last set: can't choose the best one... what PP did you use in the first 5 ones? they have special colors and I am wondering how did you obtain it.
Congrats also for the train set!

Uzay - wonderful staircases shots

Akul - what a great set!
