1.4/50 ZF + D700 in Available Light. This lens is so addictive, and it offers much better color rendition and overall sharpness than Nikkor 50 f/1.2 AI-S.
mshi - congrats on 50 f1.4 I like the composition of #3 from the first set. Great capture of lighting from the concert shots.
Bob - Great series. The orange shutters are very photogenic. I especially like the one with orange shutter and bicycles and graffiti wall with, well, a bicycle !
Hugo - Wonderful to see variety of work from the same artist. I like the first one with 100 MP, the way how people are framed by the openings.
Philber - Thank you for the comment. I am at a point that I really need to get better at pulling something out of the same old thing otherwise, I have to move to somewhere beautiful, like Paris or Colorado or Poynesian Islands every 3-4 years Beautiful set from Versaille. Great deep color depth and composition from #1. #2 really showcases the great dynamic range from 5DII. Beautiful lighting from #3 and #4.
Carsten - Great crops. I really love the way how you used close-ups to capture the beauty of these vehicles. I especially like #3, #4 and #6. #4, beautiful white Benz (?), with its classic elegance is my most favorite.
hauxon- Beautiful B/W. I like the #2
teh_rebel - Wonderful pano.
rsolti13 - Wonderful set. I like the simplicity of the last shot with the moon in OOF. My most favorite is #3 with the wonderful brick color, texture with shallow DOF and lighting accentuating the focus point.
Hrannar, those shots are very moody! They look like LF film.
Thanks Ryan! I hadn't even seen myself there, but then, I haven't started proper processing yet, so I have an excuse Great Private Parking sign, btw.
Thanks Bob!
Thanks Akul. Yes, there are so many nice cars there. I will have to go back and try some more. It takes time though. Maybe I should cut a 2.5:1 hole in black cardboard to speed up the seeing part
Bob - great sets. Especially the second set. Vignett is working well with the images.
Philber - great shots with ZM50. My favorite are #1 from first set, #2 and #3 from the second set. '3D' is a bit of unclear realm that I am not comfortable to get in detail, however, compare to the ZM35 shots, I did notice a little less of such feeling. However I still see some characteristics on the back of head of angel on the #1, and stronger on #2 from this set. It also may have something to do with NEX handles highlight area?
Just gotta share the new toy with you, the ZE21. I'm at least as thrilled as with the ZE35/2.
I know it is a sacrilege, putting this thing on a 'cropper, but I like the 33,6 mm eq FOV anyway (probably until I get myself something like a 5DIII in 1-2 years and see the real potential of this lens):
Little time to shoot in the next few weeks, won't bore you with the street outside, but here is a closeup from the garden @ 2.8 on 550D:
