Boris, stunning shots! And you say you can't teach me anything in cityscape photograpahy
Thanks Philippe, but I still think that you have much more experience in shooting cityscapes and escpecially your results in shooting architectural details are much better than my.
Philber: is really spectacular!! And lovely detailed shots! thanks for sharing!
Boris: spot on exposure! Wonderful cityscape!
I took a road to Boulder Falls today. Sadly they closed them in mid October... so I had to climb over the gates with all the gear... Not so much colors, so converted to B&W:
Normally I wouldn't be posting an image captured through the windshield of a moving vehicle, but, this one shows some pretty cool 3D effect, don't you think? 35mm, f/2
If anyone is interested in seeing some cool surf shots from yesterday's session, check them out here. The first shot was captured with the Zeiss.
Denoir - From previous page, beautiful night shots with M9. I loved the 'ladder' shot from while back, and I was hpaay to see new shot from there ( assuming it is the same site) Great color and composition. Congrats on M9 !!
teh-rebel - lovely shot from wedding.
Lars - beautiful color of leaves. Second one was my favorite.
Bobu - I love the shots of rain water collecting 'machine'. And the night shot of Dresden. Beautiful lighting.
Philber - Those shots are fantastic. Beautiful capture of space, detail of ceiling and the wing.
Diploneis - Stunning shot of waterfall.
Jon - That is a beautiful sky.
I love your first shot, Bob, but the second, I find stunning, plain and simple!
And, please, don't put in a good word about the 50mm f:1.4. Too many nice people might get upset....
Don't do this, Bob! Showing incredibly nice pictures from this cheap and light (for Zeiss) lens is going to get us into all kinds of trouble. Why, it might even get us banned from FM!!! And then what would we do?
Bob - Those are stunning images from your newly acquired ZE 50 1.4 Second series are very sharp it hurts my eyes. The first one on the second series, was the lighting make the strong 'vignetting' effect ?? I love vignetting, this is not a criticism just my curiosity speaking. However, my most favorite was the second shot of the first set. Like Philip said, simple, but quite powerful. Oh, one more question. Curious to know why you went with Planar, not MacroPlanar ??
Gary - Very nice detail with the first shot. That is wide open ? Well done.
