Karelg - Thanks for the comment. I very much appreciate that you took time to give comments. In terms of cropping, I thought about it, but decided against. I am putting a self imposed rule not to crop unless it is absolutely necessary. With digital photos, there are too many things that can be altered, so I am trying to give some restraint only because I won't be able to handle with too many variables. I will try harder next time.
Denoir - I love the mood of the first one with vignetting. Texture of second one is very tactile. Third one, that is a stunner.
MJ - Love the crazy quilt (?) car cover! Shot wise, my favorite is the #5 with back lit trees
rji2goleez - Beautiful shot of trellis. Love the light coming through leaves
Todd - Beautiful pitbull (?) you have. Second shot is really lovely. Beautiful eyes. First one is a bit scary, he/she looks a bit annoyed with the eyebrow raised.
Philber - Great use of 28mm. I always felt 28 is a sweet spot for certain architecture photography. 35 is too tight, 24 ( or 21 ) is great, but they make the space / mass bigger than how I experience them. Gentle transition of light throughout the 4 shots makes me feel like I was just there experiencing the morning.

Tod: love the swing reminds me of Terminator II
Precisely what I was thinking of when I shot it.

Yes, Pit Bull, thanks. He does indeed look menacing at times, but he's entirely friendly, and kind of a wuss.
Todd: Grreat dawg! Nice BW conversions - I could have easily mistaken it for film.
Philippe: I'm no great fan of the 28, but you certainly know how to use it. Excellent light as well.
Akul: Beutiful texture and light. Great captures!
Akul, Karel & others who have commented on my first statue: I tried to get an old school large format look there. I have been enjoying B/W conversions more and more recently.

Thanks, Luka. That's not the first time I've heard that. I have almost zero experience with film, but the comments I have received on these conversions lead me to be highly impressed with the plug-in that I use to do them. It's Imagenomic's RealGrain. There a are a bazillion options for films. In this case, I used the one called "Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros." I have no idea what that even means.

That's one of my favorite films. Of course it looks good!
I'm shooting a lot with film now, and I think I've found the "soul" of the ZM 35/2.8 C-Biogon. It just strikes if you use it right. This is with Tmax 100...
Not necessarily "3D", but there is some sort of presence in there. A bit like medium format.
First, great shots Karel, Joakim, Akul, Martin, Bob & Philippe!
Philippe, I'd say yes. For the types of shots that you are using it for, I'd recommend using it wide open. I like the 100 MP stopped down as well but mostly at infinity at larger distances.
Gary, Phillipe, Luka, Martynas, all fantastic!! Some I have neglected to metion, too, I'm sure, this is a tough thread to keep up with. Love the rain shot with the trees, Luka. Phillipe, I will be interested to see what you think of the 100MP after shooting wider.
Here are a few from an all too brief walk in the park today, all with my only Zeiss, the 100MP:
wonderful shot, i'm always amazed that you can continue to take pictures of this same spot without boring me. incidentally, it looks like you are getting some chicago style weather - we only have have two seasons, summer and winter, and we nearly always get a snow storm sometime before halloween. your scenery is much nicer though.
