Luka, great set. The colours make the first one and the way they are separated with the the green, blue/cyan and red. Like Boris I think the third one tells more of a story and it makes good use of lighting and dof to do so.
Ajay, the first one is how I have wanted to shoot an autumn leaves photo myself with the colours completely filling the frame like that. Well done. #2 and #3 are also great but the tilting horizon in #3...
Ajay, I like your pictures very much. Thanx for posting.
I once was in Lee Vining and I can remember that there were many more rocks in mono lake than can be seen on your pictures. Does that mean that the rocks are eroding?
Here are the last couple of shots from my recent trip to NYC that I thought were interesting enough to share. If possible could you point out things I could improve upon? Thanks in advance.
A couple of shots from this morning. I usually prefer to shoot in the evening but as it is rapidly getting darker now sunrise is at an acceptable time (around 08:30 now).
P190:
Denoir: your 1st sunrise is stunning, the colors, the reflection, the lights in the buildings.
Tod: love the swing reminds me of Terminator II
Akul, wonderfull contrast between the light buildings and the sky (maybe I would have cropped of the foreground?)
MJWong: the curved bench 4 is my favourite, the lake 6 has stunning clarity.
Gary: 1 has beautiful reflections and a gorgeous transistion from light to dark
Philber: excellent choice of angle in the falling pillars, and the light pattern!
Jochenb: tranquil road
Diploneis: congrats, keep 'em coming!
Peire: the last is my favorite, must look stunning large
P191:
Denoir: wonderfull reflections and great mood in 1, 3, 4
AjayC: love 1, how the aspen stands out and the colors "melt away"
Tada: your last is my favorite, so colorfull!
1banger: great shot into the sun, this one really works
P192:
Denoir: that 1st statue really pops out, great conversion
Tod: love the 2nd shot, dogs can really look guilty!

No, it was just one part of the lake. There are still a lot of rocks (ie tufa towers) there and actually they keep growing. There were a bunch of folks photographing the lake when I was there. It was hard to get a good composition without people intruding in to my frame.
