@ Peire, fantastic flower shots. I really like the last one (but all are great). The pictures in the beautiful church are also great. It is certainly worth a visit.

jfreak, that's where I learned to sail (Community Boating) for $1 per summer. I don't think it is that cheap anymore. Nice pic, I love walking by the river at night. Haven't done it in a while as I do not live there anymore, but I get back to visit my parents when I can.
I did not notice how much it costs now. It is really nice place to be in evening. Unfortunately I hardly have the evenings free and if I do I am trying to catch some sleep instead of being out there.
Wayne, thanks for the comment, points well taken
OneAnt, you make good points, and your pics show that you know what you are talking about. Thanks.
Bernd, lovely portrait!

rsolti13 - I like especially photos no 1 and 3.
Another 85/1.4 pleasant portrait oldmiller.
rji2goleez - great back of the old Volvo.
OneAnt - I like the beggar most
Bernd ...you've been holding out on me. He is a stunning lad and the picture is OK I suppose (grin).
I remember I said something negative of the zf85 right back at the beginning and you were nice enough to correct me with explanation. I want the zf85 desperately and I have big plans for using it but it will be after the 35/1.4 if it ever happens. Portraits are a topic of their own, I know a few fellas online that use 85mm for street but I would like to make classical style portraits but unlike any you have seen before. "What Big plans this fella has", said the big bad wolf
Thanks philber, its nice you have some experience of street now. Not so easy is it?
Peire, The homeless fellow, Leslie is why I need to learn to process for printing. Cannot wait to put him on the wall. Some suggest making him b&w but I only like b&w taken for b&w's sake. Some don't understand the composition though, Im sitting to show us as equal (and we all are) but the picture perspective is as though he is standing. The laneway I see as his stage and he is performing.
Your Jesuit church ...I was just two days ago studying its history. It has a Trompe-l'œil dome that also features on the Trompe-l'œil wiki page. The artist is himself a jesuit, Andrea Pozzo 1703 was given the ceiling as reward for his render of the faux domes that are also a part of this ceiling.
...I envy ..envy you, what a stunning place to be.
OneAnt, you classified me as a "landscape guy", which is not quite accurate. Most of my pics are city/monument pics. The reason I do not practice more street is that, under French law, you need a written release from any person whom you want to shoot. Not really practical. When I went to India, I did lots of street shooting, and the results were not all bad... Faces from India
I had trouble picking a favourite from my favourites from 'Faces from India'. Some great colour, great faces but #4975 is a sweet little capture.
I study written and spoken Chinese and plan to walk China from one side to the other but I have a sweetheart that wants to follow Emperor Hadrian about. I think that as long as everyone here has Europe covered then I can convince her that its a matter of territorial rights divided amongst zeiss owners.

You folks are crazy! Been five days short on time and see tons of awesome pictures since then. Please excuse, that I do not comment on them in detail, I would be completely overcharged.
We spoke about the gentle rendering of ZF85 some days ago and I just dropped in to show a recent one with it.

I see that you've done your lesson OneAnt.Seriously - you're right, the church is really unique.50 meters away from it there is a renaissance castle with a typical courtyard for this architectural style.Another place worth visiting.
I think you do not necessarily have to travel to the far east. There are so,so many beautiful pieces of architecture in Europe that it will be more than enough for all of us, Zeiss addicts!
