I think you lay claim to some of the finest photos made with the 50mm planar. I primarily shoot with the milvus 50, but these inspire me to explore it's painterly rendering again.
It’s probably not politically correct to say this, but in my humble opinion, out of all the image threads I’ve seen on FM, this one consistently has the best photos.

D850 + Zeiss 85/1.4 Otus at F1.4 20mm tube
I would prefer to have the Zeiss lenses on the Z8 because the D850 mount is getting sloppy after all the years and I'm getting a lot of FEE errors. I have to twist it back to have connection again. Nikon lenses are just fine.
They all work on the Z8 excellent except the 100/2 that shows up as a 5mm F1 lens and the IBIS then doesn't do much.
