I am loving your work with the 35f2. I've been contemplating getting the Milvus 35f1.4 ZF.2 but now I'm wondering if I should just get the Classic 35f2 ZF.2 instead.

Hi Don,
Thank you that's very kind of you, the ZE 35/2 is probably my favourite lens, the detail and sharpness wide open is amazing.

You do such nice work with the ZF 28/2, you would probably find results from the ZF 35/2 to be very similar. That has been my experience owning both.
I am struggling with buying the Milvus 35/1.4. Even though the MTF's of the Milvus 35 are better, I have never been disappointed by the results coming from the ZF 35/2. And, I have rented the Milvus 35. But it is difficult to overcome the quality in the small package of the ZF 35/2.
And it is a pleasure to see Dougo's results from ZE 35/2 on a Sony camera. I am thinking maybe a Z series Nikon with IBIS might be a good platform for the ZF 35/2. (and ZF 28/2, and ZF 25/2)

Thank you so much for the very kinds words, Carlitos! You are very kind
I didn't realize that you own both the 28 and 35. Do you find that you use one more than the other?
In regards to the Classic vs the Milvus... there is indeed something nice to be said about the quality obtained in such a small and lightweight package. Plus I prefer the styling of the Classic version over that of the Milvus. However, it's the image quality that means the most to me.
Hallo Don,
So I guess you are playing yourselve.
I am actually a professional Cellist and I actually play a very new ( 3 month) Goffriller model.
Who actually built your Montagnana model?
