Some of my first photos taken with the Zeiss Milvus 21mm F2.8. These were photographed with a Nikon D800. Overall not that impressed with the DOF and Color rendition. Sharpness is still not that desirable in my opinion. Maybe I'm missing something on how to use this lens correctly.
Any feedback and comments would be appreciated.
Looks oddly muddy relative to what I'm used to from mine. Is there a good way for you to test for centering, CA and so on?
I've always thought of that lens as particularly delicious -- sparkle and microcontrast abound.
Don... I've enjoyed your photos with the Zeiss 28mm f2. It pairs well with your Df. Nice crisp colorful shots. Thought I'd add one of my own with the Zeiss 28mm. This was taken at 3.5 with a Canon SL1.

Thank you Bill for the nice comments. The Zeiss 28mm f2 is still pretty new to me and so I'm still in the process of trying to learn it, but am having a blast with it non-the-less
Yes Don, it's lake Michigan from a beach in Evanston, Il. I see your from Wisconsin. Every fall I drive up to Lake Geneva to capture fall colors. I'm looking forward to taking the 28mm up there in October.

That's a nice area. I've been to Evanston/Morton Groove many times as I am also an audiophile and you have some very nice audio stores there.
Yes, Lake Geneva is a beautiful spot and will be perfect for your 28mm. Looking forward to seeing more of your images!
