I shot 99% handheld and most shot with 100MP I use tubes for better magnification (1:2 on 100MP)
I try not to go over ISO 1250 in most cases and try to keep such a low aperture as possible with the iso I have set and try to keep the shutter speed over 1/200, but sometimes it is difficult when using tubes that take some light ( could probably go up a bit more on the ISO and get better shutterspeed and get more sharper images
IBIS on A7r II might provide some benefits ? I had A7 before, in fact I think it was a bit easier with 24MP vs 42MP for macro shots .have probably more picturemiss with A7R II nowadays..but there are also advantages on A7R II
