Thank you Harsha, It was one of those magical moments, we were following her through the dense bush when she suddenly stopped, looked back at us and almost seemed to say "good thing you guys don't stalk for dinner" There is something magical about a leopards stare.

Lovely shot. I love leopards and Botswana is the place for them; if you have the right guides and locations. Where in Botswana did you travel to get this shot? I have been to Botswana a number of times and have planned another trip for later this year. My last journey was spectacular. Don G.
I replied wrongly. I'm still trying to figure this "forum protocol" out. Lovely image. I to love leopards and Botswana is the place for leopards; if you have the right guides and the right locations. Where did you get this shot? It looks like a leopard I photographed in Savute last year. I have been to Botswana a number of times and I've planned a trip for later this year. Don G.
Hi Don,
Thanks for the comment. Yes, Botswana is certainly a great place for leopard, allthough I have had good luck in South Africa as well. The leopard in this shot is from Chitabe Camp in Botswana. Savuti Camp is one of my other favorites, I was there in December and I'll be back at Savuti in May. I also love Savuti for the Wild Dog. It sounds like you know the right formula for a great photo safari, i.e. a good guide and the right location. What camps are you visiting next?
