I love all animals, but cats have a special place in my heart. This is my neighbor's cat Tommy. It is rare that I can get a photo of him because whenever I arrive home he comes rushing over to flop at my feet for lovies. Here, he paused for just a moment as he approached me and I grabbed this shot...
And here is a shot of my neighbor's second cat, Jake. I'd just bought the Sigma 150 f/2.8 and was taking it for a spin when I encountered Jake, who is a lovely, though not that friendly cat.
Those two are really cool looking specimens! I was a "dog person" until I caved and let my wife get a kitten about 2 months ago. Glad I did, they are a lot of fun! They, as in I eventually insisted we get another one so they can be friends and operate a terror cell in our house at night! The vast differences in personality between the two is quite intriguing.
