Neither grip is weather sealed to my knowledge. The gap between the grip and body would allow moisture to hit the grip-to-body electronic contacts, and there's no rubber gasket around that.
i bought the grip, its not weather sealed like the MB-D10. Quality feels about the same as the Nikon counter part. So if a $0.30 gasket to keep out water is worth the extra $150, this grip isn't for you.
If you dont really care about the gasket, this grip is for you, sorry nikon.

I guess if it mattered, one could lay down a bead of silicone.
Which im working on now, was we speak, lol.
Custom weather sealing for the win!
*edit*
also forgot to mention the zeikos grip has a half-way autofocus and then a full click for the shutter button, as opposed to the MB-D10 which was overly sensitive IMO

didn't want to bump the thread, but this grip is crap compared to the MB-D10. 2nd day of owning it, the battery tray got stuck inside the compartment. Had to forcefully pull it out, which in turn bent a little prong on the AA holder, now it gets stuck all the time. The AA battery tray is a nightmare for batteries, the MB-D10 is a snug fit, this thing will make your fingers hurt putting batteries in.
Its on its way back to BH.
For 1/3rd the price, you get 1/3rd the quality. MB-D10 is the way to go, for me atleast.
I've ordered one today from B&H, should be here Tuesday along with another EN-EL3e battery. Had to phone it in since I was using a card I got for a rebate, along with another CC. Price is back down to 64.95 and free shipping.
I have the Zeikos on my D700 and really like it.
With the 8 AA's the D700 is super fast, but I use it empty as well, for the extra buttons and the better feeling balance.
You can program the extra AF-ON button on the grip as another Function type button, this was one of the main reasons I bought it. I have it set to AE-Lock, as my main AE-Lock button is set to FV-Lock
