Hi guys!
Far from discouraged by my previous experience when driving to Death Valley, I was actually eager to try again and very recently I made it there... I managed to cover a lot of ground in a single day (Zabriskie Point, Devil's Golf Course, Badwater and the Salt Flats, Artist's Pallete, The Racetrack, Uhebebe Crater, Devil's Cornfield and finally the Stovepipe Wells sand dunes for a drive of about 285 miles), and ended up with a great tan that was actually peeling in a matter of hours
All I can say is that it was worth every single mile driven, this place is simply fantastic.
It would be an awful understatement to say that you covered a lot of ground. I especially enjoyed the "Race Track." I don't remember anyone else using it's name, or having several "runners" in the line up.
I also like your website. It is so user friendly, one of the best I've come across for showcasing a whole lot of impressive images.
Congratulations Carlos, both on finally making it there and for the success that you experienced. Very nice shots of a memorable place. I'm looking forward to getting back there some day.
Thank you for your kind comments, I hope to be able to go back again at some point in the future, this place is full of possibilities and ever changing, so a few surprises seem guarranteed each time you go there...
Great shots! I went there last summer and I would like to be able to get there again and again...just an amazing place...
And you captured it very well: watching your pics was like being there again!
