I like the idea and the final pic but I'm slightly disappointed as it shows more your PP skills rather than your photographic skills.

I appreciate your honestly very much, and I have to agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, I am at a disadvantage in that regard, as I have only just recently started to actually pursue my interest in SLR photography.

It didn't quite turn out how I had intended, but I was already committed... I tried a few different looks (black, white, separations between the components, etc...).
