Congrats Ron. From what I can see you have a keeper. These look very good and the camera AF tracking seems to be doing a very good job in your hands.

Man you guys aren't making it any easier for me to sit here without my pre-ordered 1DMKIV that hasn't arrived yet. I'm loving the looks of this camera the more the reports from good photographers come in.
Great work Ron (and Chad)!!! I am anxiously awaiting both of your reviews on the new AI Servo II and AF point system.
Schweeeeet work, both of you!!

I wasn't planning of getting the 1D Mark IV... (even smaller letters and even less audible)
I wasn't planning of getting the 1D Mark IV... (barely legible and barely audible mumble)
Nothing to see and nothing to hear anymore......
Great shots, Ron!
I do not see and do not hear anything anymore Joshua, but still would like to know what is your experience with the EOS 1D Mark IV after you received it and tried it.

Wow - great results. Two questions:
1. What is your percentage of keepers?
2. How did you get your camera so quickly? Mine has been paid for since 10/22/09 and no word on delivery yet!
Thanks everyone, Today was filled with setting microadjustments and reading the manual. Took a series of ISO images also that can be found in the Canon Forum.
Wes: Don't have any idea yet of percentage of keepers, I did take a burst of one car heading away from me and all 6 shots looked pretty good, car was moving about 50mph. Can't comment on your second question.

These are excellent shots! The focus on the birds is great! I'm not sure what lens you used Ron, but this camera sure does produce nice images.
Thanks, I used the 500f4 with a 1.4tc on for these.
