p.2 #2 · Which one of the lens align kits are the best deal?
Small mirror, piece of foam board with newspaper taped flat to it and a ruler/marker to make a dark black line perpendicular to the newspaper.
Tilt at a 45 degree angle or so, use the mirror on a wall to verify lens is perpendicular, lower tripod column parallel to black mark, misfocus, use AF to focus on black line.
